I love people who are artsy, crafty and incredibly talented in artistic ways - because I am not. So I very much appreciate when people have a vision and then create their vision. My friend Becky is one such person - she is a button-maker, knitter, terrarium-grower, performer and show-curator extraordinaire.
Below is a picture of a series of buttons she made from security envelopes (you know, those envelopes you get bills and personal materials in that have a security pattern so people can't hold them up to the light and see into) she received from all over the world. Such beauty in such simplicity!
