So this is an interesting idea ... ToCloud.com have created a way to see blogs or sites or data visually using a data cloud. Usually data clouds are tag clouds, but for some shopping sites, they have created image clouds. So they have taken laptop bag data from Amazon and they show it in an image cloud that indicates popularity as well as price. See below ... it shows part of the ranked image cloud, plus a mouse-over on one of the bags.
It's not as pretty as I would like (say compared to something like endless.com), but I can see it being useful for both buyers as well as manufacturers and designers. Visual representation of data like this is so much easier to digest than lists and lists of numbers.
Anyway, check it out .. it's a neat way to look at products you're interested in.
